Here's a little more about how the event will go 

Day 1: Monday, September 9th
Attendees: Free Ticket for Live Event with 24-hour Replay/Upgrade to VIP for Extended Replay
Agenda: Angie will kick off the event with a 60-minute Keynote. After that, we'll move straight into the PRE-RECORDED Guest Speaker compilation video. These videos will all stream back-to-back and should last 60-120 minutes. After that, Angie will wrap up Day 1 of the event with a final presentation/message.
12:00pm - 4:30pm EST

There will be a LIVE VIP Guest Speaker Panel on Monday evening (this is optional for all guest speakers). 6:00pm - 7:30pm EST

Day 2: Tuesday, September 10th
Attendees: VIP Ticket Upgrade Required
Agenda: Access to Extended Presentations (20-60 Minutes) from Guest Educators Unlocks. 
10:00am - 2:00pm

90 Second Video Details

Thank you so much for expressing interest in being a guest speaker for The Extension Summit. To be included in the event, all I need from you is a 60-90 SECOND video of your best tip/advice/demo for an extension artist to grow their business (there are other opportunities if you want to participate further).

My goal for each speaker is to share a little piece of their knowledge and expertise in a short amount of time. My vision for day 1 of the summit is Tiktok meets real education for extension artists. I want attendees to walk away feeling inspired with high-value information/quick tips they can hear once or twice and apply to their businesses.

To help create cohesion throughout the event, we request that your presentation falls into one of the following categories:

• Extension Business + Marketing
• Hair Extension Installation Tip/Demonstration
• Extension Hair (About the actual hair)
• Other (Subject to approval, but we're open to your kick-ass ideas)

You are welcome to share any topic you want that falls within one of these categories (unless previously discussed). When deciding what you want to share, think of the ONE THING you wish you would have known sooner or something you do that is unique that COMPLETELY changed the game for you and your business. Due to the limited video time, there's no need to create a slide deck or anything of that nature, but you are more than welcome to if that's your jam. Some of our guest speakers have included a quick PDF guide accompanying their video (think quick tips, checklists, etc).

To become a guest speaker, you will need to complete the speaker registration form.

After completing the form and sending in your headshot/video, that's really all you have to do to be a guest speaker, unless you want to participate further.

VIP Educator Opportunity

Day 2 of the event is a VIP experience that will feature a handful of Guest Educators who will share 20-60 minute PRE-RECORDED presentations. This is a separate opportunity from being a 90-Second Guest Speaker.

Guest Educator Video Submission Deadline: 9/1/2024 *Please note, this is Labor Day Weekend

We are seeking a handful of guest educators for the fall extension summit. This is not a paid gig but you do have the opportunity to pitch at the end of your presentation (this can be a pitch to a free lead magnet OR a course/membership/live class/etc). Your pitch may be up to 3 minutes.

Your presentation will be a 20-60 minute pre-recorded presentation that offers value on a specific topic related to the theme of the extension summit: business/marketing, extension demo, or extension hair (open to other topics, as well). 

Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they can take action on what they’ve learned right away, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they're missing something that they need to buy from you asap.

With that being said, you have your choice of the following presentation formats:

• Slide Deck
• Technical Demo
• Face to Camera
• A mixture of the above

No matter what format you choose, your presentation belongs to you. So you can use it however you’d like in the future (we ask that you refrain from using this presentation until after October 31st, 2024).

Here’s the suggested format for your presentation:

• A quick intro
• An overview of your topic
• Where stylists go wrong with your topic and tend to overcomplicate it
• Teaching segment
• Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process)
• A quick review
• Up to a 3-minute pitch of a free opt-in or a paid offer (courses, classes, coaching, etc).
