The Extension Summit Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

Privacy Policy listed below.

How these terms work. These Terms apply to every attendee of The Extension Summit, at every ticket level, for every edition of the event. The specific dates, schedule, ticket prices, ticket levels, inclusions, and access windows for any given year are published on the event registration and checkout pages, and those published details apply to that year's event alongside these Terms. Where the two differ on a specific detail, the details published at the time of your purchase govern.

1. Registration and eligibility. Registration is required before the event and is non-transferable. You must be 18 years of age or older to register, enter any giveaway, or receive any prize. Registration is personal to you. Access credentials are issued to a single person and may not be shared, resold, or used by more than one individual. We may revoke access without refund if credentials are shared.

2. Ticket levels and what you receive. The Extension Summit is offered at multiple ticket levels. Each level has its own inclusions, price, and replay or access window, all of which are stated on the registration and checkout pages before you buy. Higher levels may include additional days, additional content libraries, live segments, and eligibility for certain prize drawings. Access windows are fixed periods that begin at the close of the relevant session and end automatically on the date stated at the time of purchase. Access windows do not pause, extend, or restart, including if you upgrade after the event has begun. Free or complimentary tickets carry a limited replay window offered as a courtesy and are subject to the same rules.

Upgrades between levels are available until the event begins, by paying the difference at the price current at the time of upgrade.

3. Code of conduct. Attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully throughout the event. Harassment, discrimination, or any behavior that makes another attendee feel unwelcome or excluded will result in immediate removal from the event without refund, and may result in permanent exclusion from future events. This applies in the live chat, the community groups, and any other space connected to the summit.

4. Inclusivity and accessibility. We are committed to a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees. Attendees are asked to be mindful of their language and behavior and to respect the diverse backgrounds and identities of everyone present. Concerns should be brought to the organizers, who will take appropriate action. We will make reasonable accommodations for attendees with disabilities. Accommodation requests should be submitted at least two weeks before the event so we have time to arrange them.

5. Access. Access is delivered through a unique link and login provided after registration. Attendees are responsible for maintaining a reliable internet connection and the hardware and software necessary to attend. Technical difficulties on the attendee's end are the attendee's responsibility, and no refunds will be issued for them. If a technical failure on our end materially disrupts a session, we will make the recording available to affected attendees.

6. Changes to the schedule, speakers, and program. The organizers reserve the right to change the speaker lineup, event schedule, session content, and session dates and times at any time, without prior notice. Unforeseen circumstances, scheduling conflicts, and other factors may require adjustments. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered attendees of material changes by email or on the event website, and attendees are encouraged to check the event website for updates. The organizers are not liable for any inconvenience, loss, or damages resulting from these changes. The number of speakers, educators, and sessions described in our marketing is an expectation, not a guarantee. Sessions listed as "coming soon" or "to be announced" are not guaranteed and do not form part of what you are purchasing.

7. Guest speakers and guest educators. Guest speakers present short educational segments and are not permitted to sell or pitch during them. Guest educators present longer sessions and may be permitted a brief promotional segment at the end of their session, as disclosed on the event pages. Speakers and educators are independent of the organizers, are not employees or agents of the organizers, and Section 14 applies to them fully.

8. Intellectual property and recording. The organizers and guest speakers retain all copyright and intellectual property rights in the summit, the replays, and all content, materials, and recordings. Attendees may not record, screenshot for redistribution, reproduce, share, or distribute any part of the summit or the replays — including recordings, materials, or presentations — without express written consent from the organizers or the relevant speaker. Unauthorized use may result in removal without refund and legal action.

9. Privacy and how your information is used. Your registration information, including your name and email address, is held by the organizers and is not sold. We share your information with a third party in one circumstance only: when you personally enter a giveaway, scholarship, or prize drawing offered by a sponsor or donor. By entering, you consent to your name and email address being provided to that specific sponsor for the purpose of fulfilling the prize and following up with you, including their own marketing. You may attend the event without entering any giveaway. Registering also subscribes you to summit-related email from the organizers, and you may unsubscribe at any time. Some links to this event are affiliate links; if you register or purchase through one, the referring affiliate may earn a commission, which costs you nothing and does not affect your price. Full details are in the Privacy Policy below.

10. Payment, refunds, and cancellation. All sales are final and no refunds will be issued, including for non-attendance, technical difficulties on the attendee's end, dissatisfaction with content, or changes to the speaker lineup or schedule. Prices are in US dollars. Promotional pricing, including early bird pricing, is available only during the window stated at the time it is offered, and expired promotional pricing will not be honored afterward. Initiating a chargeback rather than contacting us first may result in permanent exclusion from this and future events.

11. Liability. The organizers and guest speakers are not liable for any losses, damages, or injuries, direct or indirect, arising from attendance. Attendees assume all risks associated with attending.

12. Earnings disclaimer. The summit may include discussion of business and financial topics. No specific results, earnings, or outcomes are guaranteed. Results depend on individual skill, experience, effort, market conditions, and factors outside anyone's control. Any earnings figures mentioned are illustrative only and should not be treated as typical or average.

13. Professional advice disclaimer. The host is not a lawyer, financial advisor, or CPA. Content is educational and informational only and is not professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before making financial, legal, tax, or medical decisions based on anything presented.

14. Technique disclaimer and speaker independence. Extension techniques demonstrated are shared for educational purposes. Attendees are responsible for practicing within their own licensing, training, and local regulations, and for the results of any technique they choose to use on a client. The host is not affiliated with the guest speakers and does not endorse the views, products, or services they present. Opinions and statements made by speakers are their own. Attendees should do their own research before acting on anything presented.

15. Circumstances beyond our control. If the event cannot be held as scheduled due to circumstances beyond the organizers' reasonable control — including platform or internet failure, illness, natural disaster, or government action — the organizers may reschedule or deliver the event in recorded form. This does not entitle attendees to a refund.

16. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belmont County, Ohio.

17. Amendments. The organizers may amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. The version posted on the event website at the time of the event governs. By registering, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

PRIZES, GIVEAWAYS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS

This section applies to everyone who enters any giveaway, prize drawing, or scholarship. The specific prizes offered, their values, which ticket levels may enter for them, and how and when they are drawn are published on the event pages for that year's event.

Eligibility. Entrants must be 18 or older. Guest speakers, guest educators, sponsors, donors, affiliates, and the organizers and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win, and there are no exceptions. Void where prohibited by law.

Live drawings. Some prizes are awarded live during the event, and for those you must be present in the live room at the time of the drawing to win. If a winner is not present, an alternate will be drawn.

Entry-based drawings. Some prizes are awarded to attendees who submit an entry through the entry form in the attendee portal. Eligibility to enter for these prizes may be limited to certain ticket levels, as stated on the event pages. Entry limits per item are stated on the entry form. Winners are drawn at random after the event and notified by email.

What entering means. When you enter for a prize, your name and email address are provided to the sponsor or donor offering that prize, whether or not you win, and that sponsor may contact you with their own marketing. That is the basis on which sponsors donate. You may attend the entire summit without entering anything.

Fulfillment and value. Prizes are donated by third parties and fulfilled by those third parties, not by the organizers. The organizers make no warranty as to the condition, quality, availability, or delivery of any donated prize, and are not liable for a sponsor's failure to deliver. Stated values are supplied by the donor and are estimates. Prizes have no cash value and may not be exchanged, substituted, or transferred. If a prize becomes unavailable, the organizers may substitute one of comparable value or withdraw it. Winners are responsible for any taxes on prizes received. Prizes involving physical shipment are shipped within the United States unless the donor states otherwise.

Scholarships. Scholarships are education packages donated by educators. Award terms, including any conditions set by the donating educator, are set by that educator. Scholarships are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Decisions. All drawing and award decisions by the organizers are final.

PRIVACY POLICY — JUST A HAIRDRESSER LLC

Last Updated: September 2026

Introduction. At Just a Hairdresser LLC, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and what rights you have. It applies to our website, our courses and memberships, and our events, including The Extension Summit.

What we collect. Depending on how you interact with us, we collect: your name; email address; phone number; mailing or shipping address when you are receiving a physical item; payment information, which is processed by our payment providers and is never stored by us; and information you voluntarily submit on our forms. If you register as a guest speaker, guest educator, sponsor, or affiliate, we also collect your headshot, biography, business name, social media handles, website links, and the content you submit for the event. We also collect standard technical information automatically, including IP address, browser type, device type, and how you use our site.

How we use your information. We use your information to deliver the products and events you register for; to send you event access details, reminders, and updates; to provide customer support; to send marketing about our own products and services; to administer giveaways and prize drawings; to pay affiliate commissions; and to improve our website and offerings.

Who we share it with — sponsors and prize entries. This is the one circumstance in which your information goes to a third party for their own marketing, and it only happens if you choose it. When you enter a giveaway, prize drawing, or scholarship offered by a sponsor or donor, your name and email address are provided to that specific sponsor, whether or not you win. Sponsors donate prizes on that basis, and they may contact you afterward with their own marketing. You choose which prizes to enter for, and you may attend an entire event without entering any of them. If you do not enter, your information is not shared with any sponsor.

Who we share it with — service providers. We use third-party services to run our business, and your information passes through them for that purpose only. These include our website and course platform, our webinar and event platform, our email service, our form providers, and our payment processors. They are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us.

Who we share it with — nobody else. We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade our customer or attendee lists. Apart from the two circumstances above, we do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes without your express consent. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Affiliates. We run an affiliate program. Affiliates who refer you can see that a referral occurred and the commission earned, but they do not receive your name, email address, or any other personal information from us.

Cookies and tracking. We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to understand how our site is used, improve your experience, and measure our marketing. Our affiliate program uses a cookie to attribute a referral to the affiliate whose link you last clicked, for the tracking period stated in our affiliate terms. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly if you disable them.

How long we keep it. We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the products and events you registered for and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices. You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting your information may end your access to products or events you have purchased. To make any of these requests, email us at the address below.

Children. Our products and events are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Registration for our events requires you to be 18 or older.

Security. We use trusted platforms and reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated date, and you are encouraged to review it periodically.
