Hey There! I'm Angie and I'm the creator of
The Empowered Stylist®
and Behind the Extensions®

 

In 2021, I created a community of extension artists who were looking to grow their extension business behind the chair without the pressure of a brand. After spending hundreds of hours coaching my students, I noticed one common problem...

THE ACTUAL HAIR EXTENSION INSTALLATION.

Over and over again, I was getting the same questions about sectioning and beads, and so on. The little nuggets I would share on our calls were some of the most talked about and always sparked more conversation around the topic.

And The Extension Edit was born. This isn't a method or a brand, it's simply the name of the class where I'm sharing what has worked for me behind the chair. I won't claim to be the best you can learn from, but I have spent my entire career as an educator and I have a DEEP understanding of hair and the foundations of hair.

My goal is to leave you feeling empowered to work outside the box. While I'm not anti- any brand, I do believe what's missing in the extension world is the ability to make decisions based on your professional judgment. I truly believe every head of hair is different and no two clients will have identical partings, sectionings, bead sizes, etc. 

I want you to leave this class feeling confident and eager to look at things a bit differently.

With that being said, I also want to empower you to do the things that are currently working for you. If your beadwork is on point and you NEVER have issues, I don't know that you need to change anything. Again, this class is about taking control of YOUR career.
